Students, parents and teachers alike have been celebrating the success of the A Level results at Connell Sixth Form College a 98 per cent pass rate was achieved across the board.
The results, which show an improvement on last year, mean that many of the Collegeās cohort will be attending their first choice university come September.
Of the 23 subjects on offer at the College in East Manchester, 17 of those achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. The College also saw an impressive 100 per cent pass rate for BTEC qualifications.
Commenting on the results, Jane Hopcroft, Head of College, said: “We are delighted to see so many of our students achieve so highly. Ā These results are testament to what can be achieved through hard work and commitment and the students are a real credit to themselves and their families.Ā Staff and governors could not be more proud and we wish them all the very best in their next steps onto further education and employment.”
